Matt has made presentations before many different groups, including the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), the Small Practitioners Group of the MACPA; the Independent Accountants Association of Michigan (IAAM); the Michigan Grocers Association; and he has conducted estate planning and employee benefit seminars both privately for clients, and publicly in connection with various groups for years, including the Troy Public Library.
Matt has been an active member in the Troy Rotary Club from 1988 through 2005, serving on the Board of Directors, and as President (1994-1995) and was a founding member of the Troy Rotary Foundation and its Pot O’ Gold fund raiser for many years. In 1995, Matt received the coveted Paul Harris award for distinguished service from his fellow Rotarians. Matt also served as a member of the Troy Historical Commission for the year 1993-1994.

Heidi E. Castle is a Legal Assistant and Business Manager for Zeigler and Associates.
She is a Detroit area native and has been working for the Law Firm since 1990. Heidi has extensive experience in Probate Court estate administration and in pre-death and post-death administration of trusts. In estate planning, Heidi writes wills, trusts, special function trusts, durable powers of attorney and patient advocate designations, the so-called “living wills”. She prepares and files the US Form 706 for the Federal Estate Tax Return. She assists clients in the funding of assets to their trusts, including the titling and re-titling of assets and transferring real estate and personal property throughout the United States. Heidi also evaluates the allocation of assets between trusts.
In Probate Administration and Trust Administration, Heidi opens, administers, and closes estates and trusts. She also reviews and writes employment handbooks, solves employment law issues and prepares annual corporate minutes. In addition, she is responsible for business management and administration of all areas of finance and personnel of the Law Firm.
Heidi has the unique ability to resolve difficult problems quickly and is able to work with clientele in a respectful and courteous manner. She is sensitive to the financial concerns of our clients and is able to efficiently move forward with economical solutions to the tasks at hand.

Bruce has lived in Metropolitan Detroit since age 14 and has practiced law in the Tri-County area for almost 23 years. He has a varied practice from Criminal Defense to Civil Litigation to Family Law to Probate. He successfully defended the first State RICO case brought against a gang in Genesee County and has obtained substantial jury awards in civil matters.
